Rules

At Leyland Mill we expect all anglers to abide by our rules. We set these rule as our number one priority is fishcare. The rules are not there to be broken and anybody found to be breaking them will be asked to leave with no refund given and no return allowed. If you are unsure of anything please ask the bailiff.

  1. All Anglers to be in possession of a valid EA licence.
  2. Safe rigs only to be used. No fixed leads, bent hooks, tether rigs, hybrid lead clips and lead clips with pegs in.
  3. Gripz or barbless hooks only. 15lb minimum breaking strain.
  4. Leader or rig tubing must be used.
  5. No spodding. Keep bait spillage to a minimum.
  6. Frozen/fresh boilies only. No shelf life. No plastic baits while ledgering.
  7. Provided nets, slings and cradles must be used.
  8. Fishing only allowed from designated swims and within swim boundaries.
  9. Zig fishing allowed, 15lb main line, 7-10lb hooklength. As with surface fishing plastic/foam baits may be used.
  10. Surface fishing use 15lb main line and 7-10lb hooklength.
  11. No unnecessary bite alarm noise.
  12. No captive back leads.
  13. Noise must be kept to a minimum.
  14. All rubbish to be taken home/off site when you leave (pegs kept tidy at all times).
  15. Keep to paths.
  16. All bookings will be reserved once payment has been made.
  17. Summer tickets run 3.05pm-2.55pm, Winter 2.05pm-1.55pm.
  18. Use dedicated phone line for any enquiries, do not knock at my door.
  19. Have respect for me, my family, my neighbours and fellow anglers. You are fishing in my back garden.
  20. No guns.
  21. No Fires.
  22. Anything else baitwise or anything else please ask and do not presume.
  23. Must use a receiver.
  24. Must have and use Propolis carp care.
  25. No rods to be left unattended.
  26. Minimum 9ft rod length.
  27. No twig rig.
  28. Do not pull for a break whether in the water or in the trees.
  29. Please respect the environment and don't pour anything on to the stones.
